Kindergarten is a milestone year, and Golden Pond School really makes it count. Our five-day kindergarten program combines strong academics with the hands-on, topic-based approach of the Golden Pond Way, helping children build skills, independence and excitement for what comes next.

at a glance
- Children must be five years old by September 30
- Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m – 2:30 p.m.
- Curriculum meets and exceeds the Virginia Standards of Learning for kindergarten
- Adapted to the Loudoun County Program of Studies
- Daily Spanish lessons
- Weekly Music & Movement and Art
- Twice monthly library trips
- Monthly theme-related field trips, parent events or culminating learning experiences
- Small class sizes
- Hot lunch served each day
- Optional add-on: After-School Enrichment available until 6pm
