Step 1
Visit our campus. Families are encouraged to schedule a private tour or attend an Open House, First Look Friday, or Kindergarten information session.
Applying to Golden Pond School is designed to be warm, personal and straightforward. It gives families, children and our team the chance to get to know one another and make sure the fit feels right from the start.

Complete the online application, along with the non-refundable application fee ($200). A birth certificate or passport must be uploaded and submitted as part of the registration process.
In some cases, children may be invited for a short play date in an age-appropriate classroom. This helps us determine the best placement for your child. For kindergarten applicants, parents must also submit information from previous schools.
Once the application and supporting materials are complete, Golden Pond School will review and confirm availability. Acceptance and placement notifications are emailed by mid-March along with an enrollment agreement. Enrollment is finalized once parents return the signed agreement and submit the final month’s tuition as a non-refundable deposit.
Once your child is admitted, you’ll receive an enrollment package by email with all required forms and a list of any additional documents needed. Before the first day of school, we must receive a completed health form, including immunization records, along with any other required paperwork.
Our preschool students are grouped into two paths, six months apart, to minimize developmental differences within each classroom. Children born March through September are placed in the Younger Path, while children born October through February are placed in the Older Path. This narrower age range allows teachers to individualize the curriculum and support each child at the right cognitive, emotional, physical and social level. Both paths incorporate the two levels of the Preschool Core Knowledge Sequence and fully prepare children for kindergarten. Families typically have several scheduling options from year to year, and we’re always happy to help you choose the one that fits best.
