Spring Sing, an annual GPS tradition for 17+ years, was spectacular! Golden Pond School students beamed with pride on the Broad Run High School stage this April. The charismatic and talented Mrs. Foster created a Singing in the Jungle event to be remembered. The children gained confidence creating their own mascot costumes and developing movements.
Golden Pond teachers, administrators, parents and students worked hard to create this amazing performance! The Kindergarten classes set the tone for the Jungle theme dressed in safari gear. The Junior Kindergarten Bears class did a magnificent job singing the Little Bear Boo song and the Giraffe class spelled their class name in a song and on their costumes! Plus, each class performed a song in Spanish with help from Senora Inmon.
The fantastic Parent Group organized DVD sales of the production for sale and had a giveaway! They were so helpful by providing flowers for sale and generously gave every student a favor to remember the special night.
