The GPS teachers and administration felt so appreciated during Teacher Appreciation Week! The wonderful and thoughtful Parent Group and students brought in yummy treats, fun gifts and many words of thanks.
The theme was “Because you lift us UP!” On Monday the message was to Cheer UP! Teachers were greeted in the morning with a yard sign, flowers and a decorated door with balloon garlands. Tuesday was Wake UP and everyone enjoyed a Panera Breakfast! On Wednesday we Snacked UP with Nordic Knot and The Difference Baker pretzels plus charcuterie cups. Thursday was Giddy UP with a Carolina Brothers BBQ lunch. To end the week on Friday it was Batter UP with Desserts available all day. What a fun (and delicious week!)
Our staff has worked hard to make this year possible while still being uniquely Golden Pond – and for this we are all appreciative!
